4. MCG Cash Pool Payout Structure
How It Works
Every competitor's entry fee is divided into two separate payout pools:
-
70% stays within the competitor's registered USPSA class.
-
30% goes toward the Overall Champion payout.
This structure rewards shooters within their skill level while still giving every competitor the opportunity to win the Overall Cash Pool.
Overall Payout
Thirty percent (30%) of every entry fee is combined into the Overall Payout Pool.
Every competitor is eligible to win the Overall Payout, regardless of class.
The highest overall finisher in each participating division will receive the Overall Payout.
Class Payouts
Seventy percent (70%) of every entry fee remains within the competitor's registered USPSA class.
Each class competes only against itself.
Payout Schedule
1–2 competitors
-
No class payout.
-
The class pool rolls into the next higher class, and those competitors become eligible to compete in that class for the combined payout.
3–5 competitors
-
1st Place
6–10 competitors
-
1st & 2nd Place
11–15 competitors
-
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place
Additional payout positions may be added as participation grows.
Eligible Classes
Class payouts are available for:
-
Master (M)
-
A
-
B
-
C
-
D
Each class has its own dedicated payout pool.
No Double Dipping
A competitor may receive only one payout per division.
If a competitor wins the Overall Payout, they are no longer eligible for a Class Payout.
The Class Payout will roll down to the next highest-finishing eligible competitor in that class.
Example:
A B Class competitor wins Overall.
They receive the Overall Payout.
The B Class payout is awarded to the next highest-finishing eligible B Class competitor.
